30% surcharge on bus fare for HARI RAYA....???

Government had announced that they will allow the bus company to have a surcharge of 30% on bus fare during the festive season...duration is 1 month.

So, despite everything else had gone up in price...our pocket getting shallower by the minute... Now we had new cost to bear...

30% surcharge...of bus fare...

I wonder what are they thinking...

If one is able to drive back to kampung, one must own a car...accept for those borrowing car from company or boss...

So those are wealthy enough to go by private own automobile....

So, left the one who are not so wealthy one that need to take a bus... they had no other choice...

So what is 30% surcharge to them?? A BIG rock man....

What are they thinking?? Shouldn't they reduce 30% of bus fare to help the MALAYSIAN to get back to see their loves one at kampung...?? But they are doing the opposite way...

SAD to see this...

Malaysia government had announced yesterday (if i didn't heard wrong from myfm....)

"Cash award of RM300k for gold medalist, RM200k for silver medalist and RM100k for bronze medalist...."

What a disgrace.... Olympic GOLD is RM1million....So, 700k in difference...

Which one need more money??? The fully healthy one or the "Para" one...

Are we FAIR?????

ARE they not representing MALAYSIA???

WHEN they win, no national anthem will be play????

We are NOT proud when they win? Or proud lesser???

I believe if we were to removes our self from being call 3rd world country or developing one...we must change the mindset and attitude...

The people had change (from 2008 election)...when will our minister change????

Dun they have better things to do??? Like strike for the acedemic achievement???

10 per cent proposal causes thousands to march

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 – Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim thought it was a good idea for Universiti Teknologi Mara to open up a bit by giving a 10 per cent intake quota to non-Bumiputra students.

For the Selangor menteri besar, his proposal would raise the education quality as well as instill the spirit of competition among students at the UiTM which currently doesn't admit non-Bumiputras.

He was in for a rude shock this morning when thousands of UiTM students marched to his office in Shah Alam to protest the idea.....

Olympic 08/08/08

I went home sharp sharp 515 just to get prepare to watch China's first OLYMPIC. Much was anticipated....I was wondering how will it touch me, makes me feel PROUD. Though i am not a China's citizen, but in some way we are connected coz i m chinese ma...
The opening hour finally came, the first scene....count down by drum that lights up...that is very intesting! I was amazed for how well they manage to sychronize and perform so well...especially the final ten seconds.
However, after this scene....the next is not as amaze... I rather fell asleep while waiting for the country parade and the final light up event. It's bored..... I felt disspointed.
I was hoping something like shoot to fire up thing like the previous olympic...haha...it did not happen...
It merely raise a man and flew around the stadium and then light up...! Aiya...we saw this every chienese fighting movie ma....
Till today...i receives a mail from a friend....it stated the ceremony doesn't look nice due to the life telecast skill that are not skilled enough...

While the scene around Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's house is relatively quiet — only newsmen present since 7am — the one at the Jalan Duta court complex where he is to be charged with sodomy at 10am is not. There, heavy police presence in the form of policemen and trucks is everywhere but the protesters they are there to control are nowhere in sight yet. Newsmen are gathered there as well as they anticipate something else — a mad rush for the limited seats inside. But the roads around the city are another story. Roadblocks everywhere have turned the major roads once again into parking lots.
