They protest for 10%.....

10 per cent proposal causes thousands to march

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 – Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim thought it was a good idea for Universiti Teknologi Mara to open up a bit by giving a 10 per cent intake quota to non-Bumiputra students.

For the Selangor menteri besar, his proposal would raise the education quality as well as instill the spirit of competition among students at the UiTM which currently doesn't admit non-Bumiputras.

He was in for a rude shock this morning when thousands of UiTM students marched to his office in Shah Alam to protest the idea.....

Why want to enroll...let them bumi maintain...i don't think we should help increase their level of quality.....right?
